Why would God not help those who need Him?
It's kinda like a story I heard. It happened during world war 2. A small platoon of soldiers were going through a wreck of a village. They saw that it was severely affected by the war, but they wondered why the villagers were still able to smile and survive in such harsh environment. As they came to end of the road, they saw a stone crucifix, with the sides of the cross torn off. They saw an armless Jesus in the middle. What they saw written under the crucifix explained everything about the village. Someone wrote, "Jesus' hands isn't here, because they've been attach to yours..." The villagers survived only by fending for each other...
So, I guess the only way God can help people is if people let Him work through them. I hope you liked the story, took me a long time to recall it right...
